Car accident kills pedestrian in Bradenton

BRADENTON, Fl. — A pedestrian was killed early Tuesday morning, August 9th, in south Bradenton, according to police.

Troopers said that the crash happened shortly before 5:30 a.m. at the intersection of 15th Street East and 55th Avenue Drive East.

Investigators say a man from Bradenton drove south on 15th Street East, approaching 57th Avenue East. A 42-year-old man from Pembroke Pines was walking on the darkened roadway without wearing any reflective material or flashlight.
