Deadly crash on I-75 in Sarasota County

VENICE, Fl.— A 36-year-old man driving a van from Venice merged onto the interstate and moved toward the center lane when it hit the side of a SUV. According to the sheriff’s office, the crash happened at 9:48 a.m. Saturday, December 10th.

Authorities said the SUV flipped multiple times. The driver, a 41-year-old man from Baltimore, was ejected and pronounced dead at the site of the crash. He was not wearing a seatbelt.
