Fatal Collision with Power Pole Results in Casualty in Siesta Key

Siesta Key, Fl. – A fatal accident occurred early Wednesday morning in Siesta Key, Florida, leading to the closure of Beach Road.

As per the statement from the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office, a motor vehicle collided with a power pole shortly after 2 a.m. The incident took place on Beach Road, just to the west of Midnight Pass Road, near Siesta Key Beach.

Sheriff’s deputies confirmed a fatality in the incident, although no further details concerning the victim have been disclosed at this time.

In the aftermath of the collision, both the eastbound and westbound lanes of Beach Road at Siesta Key Beach were closed off to traffic. Local authorities advised drivers to seek alternate routes to circumvent the affected area.
