Sarasota County, FL.- The Florida Highway Patrol is currently investigating a rollover collision in Sarasota County that caused minor injuries to two drivers on Tuesday morning.
As per the FHP officials, the incident involved a 43-year-old man from Bradenton who was driving an SUV in the northbound direction on Interstate 75 and approaching mile marker 172 at around 7:53 a.m.
The SUV hydroplaned on the wet road and crossed three lanes, colliding with the right side of a semi-tractor trailer in the outside lane. The impact caused the semi to crash into the east shoulder guardrail and overturn, while the SUV came to a stop on the west side of the guardrail. Both drivers sustained minor injuries. The FHP is continuing the investigation into the crash.
