Florida Highway Patrol reports fatal US 41 motorcycle-SUV collision leading to death of Bradenton resident

Bradenton, Fl-According to a report by the Florida Highway Patrol, a male resident of Bradenton, aged 68, passed away on Sunday evening due to a motorcycle accident. The accident occurred around 7:16 p.m. on U.S. 41 while the man was traveling north towards the Florida Boulevard intersection. At that time, an SUV ahead of him slowed down due to a changing traffic signal. However, the motorcyclist failed to reduce his speed and collided with the back of the SUV, leading to critical injuries.

As per the FHP report, the man fell from his motorcycle and was rushed to Blake Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead. The SUV driver, a 48-year-old woman from Bradenton, sustained minor injuries. Currently, FHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
