Motorcyclist Succumbs to Injuries Following Collision in Manatee County, Reports FHP

Manatee County, Fl. – A tragic incident unfolded in Manatee County, Florida, when a motorcyclist lost their life following a collision on Thursday, as stated by the Florida Highway Patrol.

The accident took place around 7:15 p.m. at the intersection of 26th Street West and 52nd Avenue Drive West, situated to the south of Bradenton, the FHP detailed.

According to the Highway Patrol, an SUV, moving south on 26th Street West, attempted a left turn, crossing the path of the oncoming motorcyclist traveling north on the same street. The motorbike subsequently collided with the SUV, striking the front passenger door.

After the incident, the motorcyclist was rushed to a nearby hospital. However, despite medical efforts, they eventually succumbed to their injuries.

Currently, an investigation into the accident is underway.
