Police seeking SUV driver in Englewood hit-and-run crash

ENGLEWOOD, Fl. – The Florida Highway Patrol is searching for the driver of an SUV who fled the scene after hitting a pedestrian in Charlotte County Monday, November 21st.
Troopers say a black SUV heading north on Oceanspray Boulevard turned left onto State Road 776 at about 6:45 p.m.
A 29-year-old Englewood man was walking south in the unpaved median at the intersection. Witnesses say the SUV hit the pedestrian and fled the scene, heading west on State Road 776.
Troopers say that the pedestrian was taken to a hospital and is in stable condition.
